Bricks Landing Page for a Paris Proposal Planner: PageSpeed 70 to 92
WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist: Bricks build, speed, local SEO and launch

My Proposal in Paris plans surprise proposals in Paris and wanted a dedicated page for couples flying in from New York. I built it in Bricks Builder on their WordPress site: keyword research, content brief, hero video with a vertical cut for phones, photo carousels, a package table that fits a phone screen, Calendly on click and Google reviews. Mobile PageSpeed went from 70 to 92, LCP from 4.6 s to 2.0 to 2.6 s, render-blocking files from 19 to 1, accessibility 100. Schema, llms.txt, 301 redirect and indexing at launch. Five stars from the client.
What changed
- Keyword research, content brief and page structure for the New York audience; the client's copy edited through three versions
- Hero with a 10-second night video and its own vertical cut for phones; carousels with the client's 28 photos
- Package comparison table that fits a phone screen without swiping; Google reviews in English, each linking to the source
- Calendly loads on click and the full film downloads only when a visitor presses play
- Render-blocking files 19 → 1, CLS 0, accessibility and best practices 100, desktop LCP 0.7 s
- WebPage, Organization, Service and FAQPage schema, 301 redirect, sitemap and llms.txt, indexing requested in Search Console
How it went
My Proposal in Paris is a Paris-based proposal planning company with 157 five-star Google reviews. They wanted a dedicated page for their biggest overseas market, couples flying in from New York, and they wanted it to rank, load fast on a phone and turn visitors into booked consultations. I worked in three fixed-price milestones on their existing WordPress site.
Milestone 1, SEO brief and structure: technical audit of the current site, keyword research for the New York audience (paris proposal packages as the main term, with planner, propose in Paris and proposal in Paris as secondary terms), a content brief, the page structure and editing of the client's copy through three versions.
Milestone 2, build and speed: the page was built in Bricks Builder with a hero video and its own vertical cut for phones, package cards with carousels of the client's 28 photos, a comparison table that fits a phone screen without swiping, locations, Google reviews in English with links to the source, FAQ and a sticky Book now button. Calendly loads only on click, the full film only downloads when a visitor presses play, images are WebP with US-English alt text, and Cloudflare went live with Full (strict) SSL without touching the Hostinger email.
Milestone 3, local SEO and launch: New York title and meta description, final URL with a 301 from the old one, WebPage, Organization, Service and FAQPage structured data with 8 questions, a corrected site-wide schema, links from the menu and the home page, sitemap and llms.txt updates, and indexing requested in Search Console.
Results on Google PageSpeed Insights (Moto G Power, slow 4G): mobile performance from 70 to 92, mobile LCP from 4.6 s to 2.0 to 2.6 s, render-blocking files from 19 to 1, CLS 0, desktop LCP 0.7 s, accessibility and best practices at 100, and 3 of 3 on the agentic browsing check. Every change was documented with a way to reverse it, and the client received a close-out report with before and after screenshots.
