This policy explains what personal information BRIGHTLINKS SEO LLC ("BrightLinks", "I", "we") handles when you visit brightlinksai.com, write to us or receive a message from us, and the choices you have.

Information we handle
Information you give us
When you email us or contact us through a freelance marketplace, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you include in your message, such as the address of your website.
Questions you type in the chat
The website has a chat assistant that answers questions about our services. What you type is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs an AI model to write the answer. We do not store the conversation and it is gone when you close the page. Answers are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Please do not enter passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
Information collected automatically
The website is served through Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes technical data for each request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the page, keep the service secure and block abuse.
Business contact information
We may hold business contact details of companies we think could use our services, taken from public sources such as business listings and company websites: business name, business email, role and website address. See "Emails from us" below.
Client project data
During a project, clients may grant access to tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics or a content management system. That access is used only to deliver the agreed work and is governed by the agreement with that client.
Services from other companies
Some parts of the pages are loaded from other companies, which receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests them:
- Cloudflare: hosting, delivery, security and the AI model behind the chat assistant.
- Google Fonts: typefaces.
- Google Maps: the embedded map on location pages. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
- jsDelivr, unpkg and Simple Icons: open-source scripts and icons.
Links to Upwork, Fiverr, Contra and Clutch take you to those services, which apply their own privacy policies.
How we use information

We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives information
Service providers that work on our behalf and under confidentiality: hosting, email, invoicing and payment providers. Authorities, when the law requires it. A successor, if the business is transferred. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Emails from us
Commercial emails from BrightLinks identify the sender, include our postal address and carry a way to opt out, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. To stop receiving them, reply "unsubscribe" or write to [email protected]. Requests are honored within 10 business days.
How long we keep it
Messages and quotes: up to 24 months after the last contact. Client and invoicing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. Outreach contacts: until you opt out, after which we keep only what is needed to respect that choice.
Your rights
Privacy laws in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island give their residents rights over their personal information. Many of those laws apply only to larger businesses. We extend the same rights to everyone, wherever you live:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Opt out of marketing messages.
- Not be treated differently for using these rights.
Send your request to [email protected]. We may ask for information to confirm your identity. We reply within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and you may contact the attorney general of your state.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This website does not track visitors across other websites, so it behaves the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Other companies do not collect information about your activity over time through this website, other than what the services listed above receive to deliver their content.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to client accounts is limited to the person doing the work and is removed when the project ends. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Visitors from outside the United States
BRIGHTLINKS SEO LLC is a United States company and its work is carried out from more than one country. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries whose laws differ from those where you live.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
